Pardon me, pero I really don't get the fuzz behind the so-called influenza A(H1N1). No, I'm not trying to invite disaster nor tempt fate, pero from what I read and heard sa news (correct me if I'm wrong on this...) e wala naman siya halos pinagka-iba sa nakasanayan na nating virus ng trangkaso noon pa man. At sa panahon na gaya ngayon kung saan uulan sabay aaraw, usong-uso naman talaga ang sakit na ito. Though it wouldn't hurt much if we do take precautionary measures every now and then, mas naiinis (more of na-a-amaze actually) ako sa over-reaction ng mga tao minsan. Maybe you're wondering kung saan papunta ang blabbing ko na ito at bakit bigla ko naungkat ang topic? Simple lang. We (particulary people within our unit) were advised at the office kanina to observe self-quarantine daw for the next few days since two of our colleagues coincidentally are taking their masters degree at De La Salle and one of them is a bit under the weather as of late. In fact, hindi na nga sila pinapasok sa work till next week (too late for a reaction though since ilang araw na din sila nakapasok sa office namin since the news about the DLSU incident happened). Alam niyo na, connect the dots na lang.
Honestly, I think it's a bit O.A. and full of sh** pero sige na nga, pagbigyan na din sila. Wala naman masama siguro magpaka-paranoid minsan. Kaya naman kahit gusto ko sanang umuwi kanina sa amin sa Manila e next weekend na lang siguro if I can. Kaysa naman "mahawaan" ko pa ang mga kids at home. Kaya my dear elder brother, if you can read this note pakisabi na lang din kay Mader Dear. Salamat! Hehe!
(Teka lang, does that mean bawal din muna kami tumambay sa mga mall? Aba teka lang... ibang usapan na yan a! Pambihira! Di na makatao ata yan... hehehe)

ReplyDeleteidol, kaya siguro medyo "over-OA" (as in Angelica Jones-ish over-OA) ang mga kinauukulan eh dahil dun sa pangamba na maaaring mag-mutate pa yung virus. although mas lethal at nakamamatay pa nga ang dengue, most of the attention seem to go to the swine flu brouhaha.
