you once showed me,
what real love is...
with your warm embraces,
with your soft and tender kiss.

everything then was perfect,
nothing was amiss...
pure joy filled my heart,
my life was a bliss.

that's why i was shocked
when one day you told me,
that you are unhappy,
and you wanted to be free.

questions filled my mind,
wondering what i did wrong...
all you gave me was silence
that lasted for so long.

it's what you wanted to do.
i was left with no choice,
but to let go of you.

of course i was crushed,
my whole world crumbled...
was left crying for days,
i fell and i tumbled.

but then came the day
when all my tears dried up.
grew tired of being sad,
time to pick myself up.

i need to be strong,
i have to move on...
to prove to you that
to leave me was wrong.

deep inside i still believe
that my dream will come true...
that i can live without you,
and i could be happy too.  :)
