Me and I (quickmelt cheese)

Today is Friday the 13th, so may excuse maging cheesy. Parang connected sila di ba? hehehe! Kanya-kanyang trip lang ito mga repapips.  

for quite sometime before,
i only had me.
most of the time alone,
most of the time lonely.

though yes i do have friends
that keeps me company
but i don't have a sweetheart,
a baby, or a honey.

for quite sometime before,
there was only i.
living life on my own,
afraid to ask why.

just kept on going on,
wondering when, wondering why
i have yet to find love,
find the apple of my eye.

then one day a surprise
came upon my way...
brought a smile on my face,
brought sunshine to my day.

everything suddenly changed,
everything seemed ok.
because it seemed to me love,
has finally come my way.

these days i don't just have
neither me nor i
for obvious reasons i think
you all know why.

for i believe i had found
the love of my life,
not me, not i
but m...e...i.
