one cheese to go, please

*epekto ng pagiging gutom... nagiging cheesy. haha! makakain na nga lang.*  for you, an impromptu.

for me back then you were just a distant star,
too far to reach, can only be viewed from afar.
i still can't believe that i have you right now,
what was once just a dream came true somehow.

please forgive me for i could be
too much for you to handle sometimes.
too stubborn and a bit childish,
and could even be grumpy at times.

but do believe me when i say to you
that this much i know is true...
for sure i'd be there whenever you need me
to lift you up so you won't feel blue.

also be wary that i'm far from being perfect,
i do have my fair share of skeletons in the closet.
but i've learned my lessons from those days back then
i'm moving forward now, no turning back again.

now we've both decided to start
a new and exciting life together...
one that we hope and pray will last
a lil' bit short of forever...

i'm offering to you these few simple gifts
to protect, to love, to cherish, to embrace...
